Our team are ready to help today.

Vietnam Trek for Marie Curie

Tash Littleford, Business Development Executive here at Morgan Parkes is soon to be challenging herself on a 90km trek across Vietnam in aid of the Marie Curie West Midlands Hospice.

The trek through Vietnam commences November 1st and so Tash is working hard to train in preparation as well as fundraising via various events in order to reach her personal target of £4000 for our local hospice.

The trek will consist of up to 9 hours walking per day for 5 consecutive days and Tash will be documenting her journey on Linked In and across Morgan Parkes social media channels so please do follow them to be kept up to date!

Tash’s target will pay for someone to stay in the hospice for 1 week, allowing them to receive the hands-on care they need in their final days. She has been holding various events over the year to raise the much-needed funds however, as we near the date of her departure, now comes the time we ask for your support in donating to the local hospice and help Tash reach her target!

Tash has been a volunteer on the Marie Curie West Midlands Development Board for over 2 years now and has previously cycled 300 miles from Solihull to Dublin in order to raise money for the West Mids hospice.

Tash said “Our local hospice is a hidden gem. Unfortunately, most people do not visit until they have to. The hospice is open to the public – next time you’re passing Solihull, pop in a grab a coffee whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens and you’ll understand straight away, that it’s an incredible place.”

Huge thank you to Morgan Parkes Recruitment for not only donating towards Tash’s Vietnam Trek but also sponsoring her along the way.

Tash would also like to say a thank you to everyone else who has supported her so far, including the rest of the Marie Curie West Mids development board for their generous sponsorship.
