Kate Morgan, Director

Kate has worked in recruitment since she registered with Pertemps in 1999 and said to the Consultant “I’d like to do what you do.”  They offered her a job as Branch Administrator, and she has since worked her way up in a couple of different agencies through payroll, temporary admin, temporary consultant, permanent consultant, senior consultant before becoming Director of Morgan Parkes Recruitment in 2014.

Outside of work, Kate loves travelling to new places and staying in nice hotels!  She has a 10 year old daughter, and a very needy cocker spaniel, and spends most of the time with her family and friends – with an occasional trip to the gym thrown in for good measure!

Kate is passionate about charity work and giving something back, she runs Morgan Parkes charity campaigns and gets a huge sense of satisfaction from doing this.

Bonny Parkes, Director

Prior to working in Recruitment, Bonny worked at Vodafone for 12 years from Customer Care Operator through to Management.  In 2004 Bonny had a light bulb moment and thought “Recruitment, that fits me perfectly” so pursued (nagged) a local recruitment agency until they gave her an opportunity. In 2014 Bonny & Kate formed Morgan Parkes Recruitment and created a different approach to Recruitment, creating a team and business built on relationships, honesty and integrity.

Bonny is passionate about people and will always be on hand to share her experiences and give advice or a hug!

Bonny has 2 grown up children who still live at home.  Bonny is a social butterfly and never turns down a night out, you’ll find her dancing until the early hours of the morning and is at her happiest at a music festival, sitting in the sunshine listening to a live band with a gin in her hand.

Rachel Argue, Consultant

Rachel has worked in recruitment since 2002.  She has worked in a variety of industries starting her career in Nursing recruitment then to Hospitality recruitment and more recently office based recruitment. She has worked in both the UK and Irish market and has gained a wealth of experience by working with the small local agency, national and international agencies.

Outside of work, Rachel loves sport and in her younger days played international football for the Republic of Ireland – she likes to remind people of this regularly!

For her sins she has a 4 wonderful children, a labradoodle and a husband!  Rachel spends most of the time with her family and friends – with an occasional trip to the pub!

Rachel is very passionate about Gaelic games and follows her home team “Cavan” religiously (they are not very good!).

Claire Ryland, Consultant

Claire started her recruitment life working for an independent agency based in Solihull and has since worked her way around various different channels of the recruitment industry. From boutique, to industry leaders and then onto being responsible for the Central Functions inhouse recruitment for a world renowned contract caterer. After having her first child, Claire decided to move back into agency recruitment and this led her to Kate, Bonny and Morgan Parkes and she couldn’t be happier.

Away from office life Claire is very family orientated and loves spending weekends exploring different places and historical sites with her husband, their 4 year old daughter and one year old son. Claire also isn’t shy when it comes to the odd night out, especially if it involves Karaoke to a cheesy power ballad. Claire is also a fan of a certain big online retailer… Just don’t tell her husband!

Claire’s favourite office motto is ‘Teamwork, makes the dream work’ and feels this is achieved so often at Morgan Parkes.

Isobel Martin, Administrator/Trainee Consultant

Isobel started in recruitment when she didn’t know what career choice to make, she left college and did an apprenticeship with Morgan Parkes Recruitment as an administrator. This helped her gain confidence in her role. She is now working towards a trainee recruitment consultant with help and guidance from the team at Morgan Parkes.  In her spare time Isobel likes to spend time with her friends and family whilst also trying to find the next best series on Netflix!

During the short time of being at Morgan Parkes, Isobel has now turned into a massive Tea lover, the mug is always left completely empty!

Rachael Farrell-Johnson, Consultant

Rachael started her recruitment Career back in 2002 as a Commercial temporary controller for an independent family run agency based in the city of Birmingham. Since then Rachael has gained a wealth of experience within the commercial and hospitality sector enjoying sales and business development. After a career break from recruitment to concentrate on motherhood and exploring different career paths Rachael is back where her heart is, in recruitment!

In Rachael’s spare time she loves her yoga classes and experimenting with new menu ideas and is keen to test them on her three children. Being very family-oriented Rachael spends most of her time with her family and loves taking part in a variety of activities with her children such as swimming, nature walks and bike riding. Rachael also loves to dance and on occasion will get her dancing shoes out and hit the city’s night life with close friends.

Lynsey Rattigan, Divisional Manager – Accountancy and Finance
